On June 3rd, Jilin Yaxin Testing Branch of Northeast Refining and Chemical Engineering Company completed the overall heat treatment construction task of the second crystallizer of the PTA Phase II project of Xianglu Petrochemical (Zhangzhou) Co., Ltd. at Sinopec Ningbo Tianyi Petrochemical Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., creating a new record for the shortest overall heat treatment construction time, thickest wall thickness, highest quality, and excellent quality of large-scale pressure vessels in China. After inspection and demonstration by authoritative experts, its overall heat treatment quality is excellent.
The overall heat treatment task of pressure vessels undertaken by Jilin Yaxin Testing Branch is the biggest difficulty in engineering construction. The crystallizer has a diameter of 10 meters, a height of 24.26 meters, a wall thickness of 150 millimeters, and a net weight of 890 tons. It is currently the largest pressure vessel in China. Due to the thickness and weight of the product, as well as the particularly high equipment, furnace heat treatment cannot be carried out, and only internal combustion method horizontal integral heat treatment construction can be carried out.
Jilin Yaxin Testing Branch has carefully designed and fully demonstrated key technologies such as combustion technology and diversion technology, forming a comprehensive technical method, and passing the technical demonstration by a multi-level expert group including domestic experts, Japanese experts, and owners.
